What determines a tie-breaker?

When drivers, or teams, end a series tied in points there are two tie-breaker steps;

The first tie-breaker is number of events participated. The driver or team with a greater participation in a series is rewarded.

The second tie-breaker is average finishing position. The lowest average finishing position will be rewarded. Keep in mind, while the Race2Play statistics display only to the hundredth, the average can still be caluclated to the thousandth or beyond.
