I think I heard Tim has been racing sims for 15 years? He must have seen incredable improvements in sim racing over the years. I was just wondering where computers will be in 5 year and in 10 and what improvements we might see in graphics and even physics in our sims? I am not a real future thinker so if someone has some insight on possibilites let me know so I can get excited! LOL

There are great setups here at R2P but, I dont know how to install them into either rFactor or GTR2? Any help would be greatly appreciated....Thanks

Now that I bought the G25 which was worth every penny I think I need something to attach it to. My $69. Bestbuy chair and $49 Ikea computer desk just aint cutting it. the G25 helped me considerably so I cant help but think a good cockpit properly set up would be just as beneficial.

I have seen a couple of nice cockpits on line. Anyone have any first hand knowledge? Unfortunately money is an object.

I have two computers running off of the same DSL modem. I am now racing a GTR2 race that just got started when my wife sat down at her's and started surfing the net. I start getting lag (disappearing cars) which is usual for me with GTR2 at the beginning of the race. This got real bad and after a lap and a half of not seing any cars at all I got a lost connection message and well, you know what happened next.

So here is my dumb ass question; Did my wife steal broadband from me? I also should mention I was on Team Speak as at the time. Could this be a reason I lost connection? Keep in mind I have lost connection before without TS or the or my better half surfing the net. This did seem rather egregious in comparison.

Frickin unbelievable!!! My old wheel made almost every car feel like the lug nuts were missing. I can now track the car in a straight line. What a concept. When the car starts tank slapping (for the lack of a better term) I can now save it. It does just about everything better. It might and I do mean might, even improve my driving a little. Its official I am now really enjoying this hobby at a much higher level.

I think you are officially a sim racer when you spend $250 for a G25 racing wheel. It should be here Wed. Actually there is probably more to it like buying a pre fab racing cockpit right? OK maybe not, so all you guys with the ECCI stuff need not respond......

I must be doing something wrong. When I try to sign in on line for the FT race today at Verano the F1 car loads instead of the FT. I select the FT from the vehicle list and Verano from the track list but as the everything is loading I see the F1 car then I am booted. What am I doing wrong?

I see RACE WTCC is offered and I was wondering if it is different enough from GTR2 to buy? I did buy rFactor and I am glad I did because it compliments GTR2. Just wanted to get an opinion......
