WOW! Just got back from the Van Halen concert. The venue SUCKED ass, but Van Halen rocked. Amazing concert. 2 hour set!!! Eddie is still absolutely amazing on the guitar. Alex rocked the house. Wolfgang was not too shabby, not very animated, but played well. And Dave, well Dave is Dave. Showmeister extrodinaire! They looked good, they sounded spectacular. Well worth the price of admision. My ears are still ringing!!! Really cool to see a group of old guys ROCK THE HOUSE!!!! Dave even threw a few spinning round house kicks!

Wow. First time for everything I guess. I get utilize my home Owners insurance policy for the first time ever. My A/C evaporator drain has decided to plug up and "flood" my house and ruin the wood flooring in my entire Living Room and Foyer. I just put that wood floor down not 18 months ago. Ooohhh the fun part, they will be testing one of my 15 foot tall walls for mold. Man I hope they dont find any. That is the last thing I need is a bunch of construction workers tearing up the place replacing wood studs and drywall. Fortunately, the weather has turned somewhat nice with low humidity, so the wife and I will be able to live without the A/C while they fix everything. I love owning my own home, but man is it a pain in the ass sometimes!

Well, I think I may need to re-evaluate my participation in sim racing. I think I may have completely ruined a friends race, and possibly ruined the friendship as well. I dont exactly feel all that great about the whole situation, and it is entirely my fault. That "my fault" thing seems to be a reoccuring theme for me. Anyway, the best possible way for me to prevent that from happening again is to simply NOT race. I value friendships and one less friend is unacceptable in these circumstances, espcially when it is my fault the friendship failed.
