New Circuits, New Image, Everythings New!!!
Dec 09, 2007

With Global Motorsport Technologies first circuit released to the sim community, we hope you may have gotten a taste for what we are all about. If you haven't had a drive around Vanport yet, consider this an invitation to give it a run. Let us know what you like and dislike about it.

GMT was formed to primarily focus on the Marketing, Hospitality and Driver Training aspects of simulation motorsport, but occasionally projects from our core business seem to lend themselves to this community. Over the last few months we have acquired licenses to two circuits. One is primarily focused on being a test track for some of the biggest teams in Motorsport and the other is very well known on the international stage. These two circuits will be premiered right here at Race 2 Play. GMT would like to say thank you to the entire Race2PLay team for helping us structure these rel [... more]

Broken ankle!!!!
Jun 23, 2007

I get here. I'm welcomed in with open arms by Tim (I really appreciste everything you have done so far Tim!). I go to the doc and they finally XRay my right ankle. Notice I say right ankle, can't possibly be my left one that is screwed up OHHHH NOOOOO!!!!. I find out yesterday that it's bloody BROKEN!!!! The odd thing is, I can move it. The really odd thing is my entire body has been numb for about a month and a half and I have an MRI scheduled for next wednesday to check for all sorts of nasty things in my head.

Is it possible that my ankle being broken could be making my whole body feel like it's waking up from being asleep?

Why am I venting about this here? I have absolutely no idea!:)

First two races...
Jun 21, 2007

I think the theme for these races should be "WHAT WAS I THINKING". I wanted to just jump in and race. I forgot that I hadn't raced in an online league setting since the 2002DTM mod for F1C came out!

I spend alot of time behind the wheel of sim cars, but it's mostly development work and the occasional pick up race with the iDT guys. That did not prepare me for the butt whipping I got yesterday, lol.

The good news is that I can't really fall too much further down the grid. The bad news is that I have alot of work to do just to move up one place :).

See ya'll on track. I'll see you mainly because I'll be looking at your taillights, you probably won't be seing much of me at all.

Alrighty then...
Jun 20, 2007

First off, thanks Tim for sucking me into this. I needed another thing to spend the countless hours of free time I... wait a tic. I have absolutely NO free time ever! This should work really well, lol.

Can't wait to get on track for a bit here. The community aspect here is STUNNING and from what I here, everyone here is here to race. Not wreck, not drive like a moron, but actually race as if on a REAL circuit with REAL cars. We have been wanting a community of thousands that want just that for about two decades now. Kudos to R2P for setting that in motion.
