High Speed Racing hit is 1000th race today after Alden Edwards finishes 2nd in the 2nd race of the Brands Hatch Round in the Euro Cup 2013 series. We started on September 9th, 2010 and almost 4 years later, we get our 1000th race.

We couldn't do it with out any one of the drivers that have raced over time. :P. I want to Thank Race2Play for allowing us to host teams on the site, and all the people to help out HSR through the entire way.

I have been at Race2play for 2 and a half years and when I first started I loved it. People drove good and it was actually very fun. It seems like those people are long gone. Something has changed around here. It seems like that in the last few months there is a select many people that just don't give a crap about anything besides WINNING the freaking race.

I talk to my buddy Fahn Thomas all the time and he tells me that he don't care about winning. He does it for the fun.

Watching people cut and door slam you down the strait-away is not fun, and that's all I ever see.

I am asking everyone of you. Would this place be fun if everyone just didn't give a Crap and just crash and Cut and Drive everyone Dirty?

Well if that's what it was like I wouldn't be here, and I hate to say it but that's what It is becoming.

I know I bring this subject alot but the only reason is, is because I actually like this place. I want Race2Play to be the best it can be, and it just aint looking like its going that way.

I have really got to the point that I would be willing to just sit in any race and just watch to make sure no body is cutting on purpose or wrecking each other.

I have done it before and its not really that hard.

I am just asking everyone as a Community here at Race2Play to just try harder as a whole to actually Race like you should. If you cant keep up with the leaders without cutting then you probably shouldn't go for the win?

Any comments are appreciated and like this if you agree.

And again I am only bringing this up because I want Race2Play to succeed to its fullest.

Ok, I was in a Saleen race earlier and the way the race went, this topic had to come up.

Respect?

Well Over the last week I have seen drivers treating people with NO RESPECT at all, And I get tired of it. Its like why do I come here to race when the guy in the lead gets run into from behind from a guy that didn't even stop for a corner.

Ok, If you are Mad at a driver in the race, You don't go
and just smash into there car, especially when they are
in the middle of a pack of other drivers. Maybe instead
of doing that and risking everyone else's darn race you
could just message that person on Race2Play and just
tell them that you didn't like the way that other person
drove you. Don't just wait for the guy to come around
and slam him full speed into a sand pit. That is BS.
Maybe you could have ruined someone else's race to. How
would have you felt then?

Now If you want Respect you must first give
it. Exactly, driving like a idiot is defiantly not gonna
help your chances in receiving it. And, there is that
little Rep Number on the results page, Well mine
normally is decently high because I drive others with
RESPECT.

RESPECT is not received by your finishing position or
all the wins you might have. It is received by how you
drive your fellow competitors while racing for dead last or for the lead. Yeah, you might have 3
Million wins but I would n't give a Rats A$$ if you
treat me like garbage on the race track. Yea, there are
certain drivers that I may drive harder, and I know how
they drive, if they driver me hard im gonna drive them
hard back, but I will respect them at the same time. I
am not one of those people that has the greatest stats
or results but I know I receive more RESPECT then some others do.

Yea, I may have those times were I may have a run in
with another driver, but I always slow down and wait for
the other guy to get back going again, and that's just
how I am.

Anyone can comment, tell me your opinion on this.

I have been thinking about my team as of recently and just thought, we have came very far.

I created the team back on September 04, 2010 just a little over 2 years ago. It was just me and I wanted to find a few drivers to race with me. Just to name a few, Brad Wrenn, Mike Guzman, Sam Wright, and Kurt Stevens. I have to thank everyone that wanted to come on my team and support the team.

At the time I didn't expect much and we weren't really known. I would say we were just under the radar.

Only 17 days after I created the team, we won our first race. Robert Lynn and Hollis Vanderloon worked together alot, and finally got Robert a win in the Project B Baha driving a Trophy Truck. I was so happy that My team finally got a win.

After Racing for about a half a year we finally got our 2nd win. Paul Crawford joined my team for just a short few races, but I am happy for just those few. He got us a 2nd win in a GT car on GTR2 at Imola. I was so happy because it was just about a half a year after our first one.

Shortly after that win, Luke Maney, Scott Ring and Paul Anstey wanted to go after the NAGT championship. Luke Maney had a little more on his mind. He wanted to get us the championship but he also wanted the Drivers Championship.

On April 02, 2011 The season started at Laguna Seca. Luke and Scott got respectable 6th's and 7th's out of 17 competitors. 2 months later the team went to Eurospeedway for the last race of the season. After a 3rd from Paul and a 5th from Luke, we had wrapped up our 1st Drivers Championship. Luke Maney also won the Drivers championship over Rogier de Klein by 4 points. That was a amazing day knowing that the team finally proven ourselves that we could challenge some of the greats.

Halfway through 2011 High Speed Racing was starting to make a name for itself already having 2 wins and a Team Championship in less than a year was something special.

During the rest of the year we didn't win any races or championships. That don't mean by any means that we sure didn't try. We were running a ton of races and going for championships. But soon that all would change.

Early in 2012 during the winter there was a rule change that made it so that you had to have a membership to race on a team. That hurt me so bad because in 3 teams I had 48 of my 56 or so drivers were guest. We dropped big time in results.
We fell off the rankings and only had 20 some races that season from our 100+ races the season before. This would not stop us though. We made a come back in the next season.

From Season 23 - Season 24 we made great improvement. We picked up some amazing drivers got 3 more wins and got another Drivers Championship. We had got from being down as low as possible to SKY High!

After Season 24 we expected the same in Season 25. Well we got what we expected but much more. After starting off the season great we had a problem right at the end. The Owner (Me) coudnt get his membership renewed and we ended the season with no team. The season may have ended bad but on a brighter side we got 8 wins in Season 25 and 1 Team Championship.

So, what is going to happen with the team going into Season 26? Well, we have a amazing Sim Racer Fahn Thomas that helped me out and we got our team back rolling. I couldn't thank him enough for it so I promised him that we would win more championships and much more races.

Well Season 26 is underway and just tonight we have got 1 more win with our driver Daniel Blanco. We got a 1-3-4 finish with Blanco Winning, I got 3rd, and Fahn got 4th. I believe we can go get ourselves a 5th Championship and many more wins down the road.

I have to Thank Race2Play and all the people that have helped me get this far. I also have to Thank Fahn for getting the team back going, and the 53 drivers that have supported me along the way.

Thank you for reading,
David Nannen

So, we just got over with the Olympics and I was thinking would it be cool if we had a Olympic type of event during the off season during the winter.

Teams
What we could do is have teams on R2P, such as Team Canada, and Team Australia. Being only 20 spots you don't have to participate.
You think, how many countries do we have here. Well you can't put all of them in 1 race. So during 1 day you have a race at 1 PM, 4 PM, 7 PM, and like 10 PM. Have a certain few countries in 1 race and others separated through the others (If you need that many races).
Lets say 20 countries are in the first race. For that the top 10 would move on to the next race... Etc

Cars
Now on to cars, there are 5 classes in R2P, Sports Car, Touring Car, Open Wheel, Stock Car, and Off Road.
There can be a vote for what car will be used in each category, or we can just use the top type car, (EXP. Open Wheel: Formula 1, Offroad: EWOR)

When to Run the Races
I was thinking about this last night, and I was wondering how long it would take. Well I was thinking After Season 26 it could start (if you want it to be this year). But, it lasts during that Season 27, so there would be plenty of time.
Here would be a base schedule
Monday: Open Wheel
Tuesday: Touring Car
Wednesday: Stock Car
Thursday: Off Road
Friday: Sports Car
Saturday: Other S27 Races
Sunday: Other s27 Races
(Just an example, can be changed)

How Teams Are Set Up
I have 3 options (there are probably more ) 1. The admins can select who all is on a team, 2. Select 1 person to be a team captain and they select who all in on the team. The idea of the team is to have the best of the best on your team for your country, or 3. Have Trials to see who gets in for the teams
In each type of class you would be allowed to have 3 drivers (you don't have to have three people but at least have 2, unless certain circumstances occur.) which would make it add up to 15 drivers. That makes 5 open spots for backup driver. You don't have to compete in all series. You may select which series you want to attend.

Setting Up Events
Depending on how many countries attend a series, there would be heats.
Lets say 40 countries do the Stock Car with 2 drivers on each team. Well there could 2 or 3 Heats and cut down the teams into 20. Then they could have a Final.
The Heats all could be 50% actual race length, and The Finals could be 100% race length.

How to be Eligible
To be eligible you have to have a membership at Race2play.

Winning Teams
The winning teams could get a medal to put on there Race2Play Profiles or something like that. I don't think money should be involved, but that would be race2play's decision.

I believe this would bring in more members to Race2play and would make for a very fun event

So, I still don't understand the point of having a 1 hour rule were you cant unregister before the race?

Here at race2play we want the biggest fields as possible, well it seems to that ever since that rule was put into effect that the fields have gotten smaller. (To a sense)

I have seen a few races were 36 people are allowed in and only 19 - 22 show up. that is far from good. The problem is what if someone gets home from work late, or someone is practicing and an emergency comes up 50 minutes before the race. Well they cant unregister and allow someone else that wants to race to race.

I know for a fact that people that are on the "red light" practice because I always race with one, and I always see them being asked to leave the server when only 12 people are there.

If you would like to explain to me the point of it I would love to be informed.
