Just finished my first online race the other day and it was great. Picked a GT2/GT3 series to start with before I dream about messing with the big GT boys.
Ran quite a few laps practice offline with the GT3 cars before settling on the Viper. Yes, it's the quickest car at Monza which is why I picked it, but now that I have I feel obliged to stick with it for a while. Anyway, practice went quite well with me posting a 1:53.2 lap, which seemed quite competitive looking at other Monza GT3 events.
Qually went well with me 3rd in class, some way behind the leading two vipers. My plan was to run two stops, the first on lap 13 just short of mid distance with the second a fuel only splash and dash around lap 26 of 29. I would have run one stop but the viper wouldn't stretch to it.
