This is just freaking awesome to watch, especially when he catches up a biker and needs to slow down behind him. Pure adrenaline stuff for sure! This was shot on a descent from "Grimselpass" in Switzerland.
I think we all remember this song... just one of the most beautiful Slovenian songs ever, sang by the best vocalists of that time. This was recorded back in 1975 and they were representing our former state of Yugoslavia at the Eurovision Song Contest. Sends shivers down my spine every time I hear it!

This was filmed at the concert in my home town Ljubljana in Slovenia and what a great concert it was! The beautiful woman holding and raising my hand is Tarja Turunen. She was a lead singer in a famous band called Nightwish and is now performing solo. I'm a big fan of her since the very beginning of her career. Tarja is quite small but very lovely and what a voice!! As she walked by me she looked really deep into my eyes and I just froze and totally forgot to give her my hand but then she went by and people next to me started to shake hands with her and that's when I regained my conciousness :D and gave her my hand. I must have caught her attention, I do look like a Scandinavian :D (she's from Finland) and she turned to me and grabbed my hand, rising it high as she sang along. And she wouldn't let go :). What a great moment and what a great gesture from here to come among her fans. Hope you guys have a chance to see her live, you'll not regret it!

I always found it amazing how can someone play different rhythm with each of his extremity. Still amazes me, that's why I love watching drummers performing. This video doesn't do justice to Nicko I suppose, since he's playing to a playback vocals and guitars so he's not setting up a rhythm like he's used to but rather following it. Still one of the best drummers and such a great guy. Long live Nicko and long live Iron Maiden!
