I want an answer - and I don't want to look for it

[rant]If you don't want to read my complaining then click the back button, now.

I am sick and tired of seeing the same questions pop up time after time after time, here and elsewhere. But especially here. And what's up with the people who want to know how to do something but don't want to look for the answer? These questions keep coming up, and the answers are posted all over the place. Not just here at R2P but on other sites. DO A LITTLE SEARCHING FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! Want to know how to skin a car? SEARCH! IT'S ALL OUT THERE! !@#@#$@! Jeez, you can't always expect the answer to be handed to you on a golden platter, with everything explained to the nth degree and not a single detail left out. PUT A LITTLE EFFORT OUT ON YOUR OWN PART. I found the answer to the skinning question on RSC - they have a very good tutorial online. If I found it YOU CAN FIND IT ALSO! This isn't the only site on the web, there's bazillions of 'em, learn to use Google, and don't ask us How do I search on Google? Figure it out for yourself, you might just find the answer you're looking for, on your own, without having to ask the same question others have been asking over and over and over and over. It's getting very old reading those same questions over and over and over and over. I wonder how many of the people asking the same questions over and over and over and over are younger people, who've had everything done for them? Who've had mommy and daddy there to clean up after them? To do their chores for them when they whine a little? To give them everything without them doing anything, or working, to earn what they receive? Who go to a modern school that doesn't require the students give the exact and correct answer, but accept something close because it's the concept that counts, not being correct. People who don't take responsibility for their own actions, but say It's not my fault, it's because I was raised that way. It's because I had a bad childhood, you don't know what I've been through. BS!!! Get over it! Take responsibility and do something on your own. You might find the answer, by doing your own research, and you might have a little bit of a satisfying feeling from doing it. Wouldn't that be a amazing thing?

Oh, and one more thing - when someone does ask a question in one of the groups here, don't waste everyones time, and your own by answering with a useless remark like, Well, it works for me. If you can't provide something useful, helpful, then don't reply. YOU'RE JUST WASTING YOUR OWN AND EVERYONE ELSE'S TIME. It's like the person who send the useless Thank you email. That's all they write - Thank you. Who the F cares? If you have to say Thank you do so in the question with a Thanks in advance at the end.

I'm done now, I think.[/rant]

Well said! I think you're being a bit ageist though, there are plenty of thick and lazy people around of ALL ages. I know what you mean about the "kid-gloves" treatment and a general lack of responsibility in society and it's nice to hear someone have a rant about it.

Lol, dont want to cause an argument, but I couldn't agree less. Thats like telling a young scientist not to ask for Eistein's theory of reletivity, but go find out for yourself. Infact, why dont you start by discovering fire?

We can all benefit from the help of others if they are willing to give it, because chances are a knowledgable person is going to be able to offer you more in 30 seconds of typing than you are going to find a day of looking. And if you are too busy or just too up your own arse to give help, don't read or just skim over the posts that irritate you so much.

Lots of People need a second opinion, whether its good or bad, poorly written or overly explained. It helps

so deal with it or stop looking at the Q&A's

Why? Do the laws of the universe change when we care less about something? Just because its an extreme doesnt mean different rules apply.
