This is my very first PC which I still use today,
All the youngsters out there LOOK, there is no CD-Rom,
Although very slow it did wonders for CNC Programming in where it didn’t place gobs of code when it wasn’t
Look all this room for storage :)

Bah. NES is too new. Ol' skool baby....
Yes it still works and even have THE original Pac-Man cassette for it. And Activision's first ever mega-hit, Pitfall. It rocks!
Steve, you showoff. Don't reveal any more though! David, thne I have Mario Bros 2. :) It was good to me. :p BTW Mario Bros 3 in 11 minutes. That's GH in Bros world! ROFL!
Very nice Jeff. 5.25 floppy rocks! I already posted my in Tim's blog. I actually stripped out that 386/66 last yr and recycled the scrap metal and bits and pieces. I needed the closet space. hehe. ;) Before that, I remember my brother used to have an old IBM PS/2 286 when we lived in NZ. That thing was sweet. Back then, all the computer games were self booting 5.25 floppies. You just stuck the disk in and hit the power switch. Who needs an OS? :) I also still had an old P133 i used as recently as sophomore yr at SC (99-00) with an old school 33k modem. Kids have it easy today, big fat T1 and fibreoptic pipes to steal all the music they want. ;) It was only a few years ago when most colleges in the US didn't have full ethernet/high speed in all their dorms and apartments. |
