That's what you call a TEAM in the new NHL bitches. Lets take a look at Adriano's precious rangers. Oops, even with Jagr and Straka, they can't even crack the top 10. Maybe when Mullet Man learns to backcheck, the rangers won't have the 4th worst GA total. Seriously, the leafs, puppies and the flyers are the only teams with worse defenses? Shouldn't you just put a paper bag over your goalie's head at that point? :P Oh, and with tonight's win against the pens (Malkin is sick. He is not human), the Ducks not only are the only team left without a regulation loss, they just tied a 23 year old record for most consecutive games with a point to start the season (15). 23 year old record. FIRST of all, you probably haven't bothered watching a single Rangers game since Jagr joined them. He really does play D. Don't worry, I wouldn't haave believed it myself if I didn't see it. If you want to pick on the Rangers, fine, but he's not at fault. Same goes for Shanahan. That guy defends almost as well as he scores goals. The Rangers' problem is with their defense and goalies. SECOND, there are still leaves on the trees out here. That's a lot of fucking woofing for a team that's played 15 games. Let's revisit this in March. THIRD, now that Disney is out of the picture, I don't have any particular issue with the team, but I still don't think hockey should be played below the Mason-Dixon. However, I can see how you'd be excited by a little success after so, so many years of abject suckage. | ||

looks like some of our team from the old days eh jeff? @ adriano: the Rangers havent had a goaler since Ed Giacomin and Gilles Villamere (phonetic). Mike Richter was ok but the soft goals just killed him. @ Jerr, Giggy is ok and I hope he regains his form this year. His pillows? Those were nothing compared to Tony Esposito's Kennesky's which he heavily modified. btw, whatever happened to Guy Hebert, the "increadible skating goalie"? | ||
Bull. Richter was the best American goalie, ever. Period. As for their current goalies, well, Weeks is a clear #2. Lundqvist hasn't found his game yet, but last year he was #4 in SV% and #5 in GAA as a rookie. I'm sure plenty of teams would have liked to have that non-goalie, as you claim. | ||

Last time you guys did anything in the playoffs Messier still had hair and didn't need Viagra. :P We lost to the rangers in OT because Aaron Ward is a dirty punk ass bitch who gives it but isn't man enough to take it. Beauch got called on the retaliation, Ward skated off like the little dirty girl she is. Joe, Jiggy is the real deal. He's been the real deal since Hebert retired, back when we were riding the cellar, Giguere was the only thing worth watching on the team. Nobody remembers because like Adriano, they have selective memory, but back before 03, Jiggy carried the team because princess Paulina would disappear for weeks. His "pillows" were measured a thousand times, never found to be illegal. He sucked ass lat yr because he had groin surgery, and was a fat ass out of shape 95 pound weakling. Now, if you want to talk about how he's overpaid in post-lockout NHL despite being one of the best, I'm your man. ;) Can't believe someone else remembers the Amazing Skating GoalieTM. LOL. He's in "alumni relations" for the Ducks. Basically, he gets paid to do nothing and plan a party once a year. Great guy though, met him a couple times. I agree with Adriano, lets talk in march
