Mine was GP2... I think I was 6 when I played it on my Dad's old PC laptop! Couldn't even play it on full graphics!!! It was so great though, my Dad couldn't have got any work done.

Chequered Flag on the Spectrum!
LOL, I'm relatively new to sim. racing, actually it was from late 2004. (my first better PC :o). and F1 Challenge 99-02 with great mods (PTC, SCC, ETCC ...) introduced me into sim. racing :), next one was a GTR1.
Got Discs and receipt.

Indianapolis 500 for my Amiga, c.1990 - steering by mouse was a revelation. Keyboard or even joystick was never good enough again. (I figure Racing Destruction Set in '85 doesn't count!)
Grand Prix 4 was my first. Follwed by the F1 series. then of course good ole' trusty Papy NR2003.
there were 3 arcade games in my time, late 80's early 90's. i spent a lot of money on those, dont remember their names. then in the mid 90's there was a car stunt game that was awesome, from atari. When i got my first pc in 1997, i got indycar racing and nascar racing from sierra. then the microprose grand prix, then the 2 F1 games from ubisoft, GP3 and 4, GPL, viper racing, sports car GT, Toca racing, colin mcrae rally, then after a long hiatus got into GTR, rfactor, GTR2, RACE (which im not really that impressed, although the F3000 is cool!)
UH OH do i see a Whalers jersey over there!!!!! LOL Is that Kay Whitmore in net? Oh man. Miss the Whales! lol
Pitstop II. Circa 1984.
I had the PC version, but it's basically the same as it was on C64 except with uglier graphics Jeff, why do you think I still keep a Win98 box around? Best part of NHL Hockey 93? Using the trade feature to put together a dream line of Lemieux-Gretzky-Selanne. ;) |
