What is Alice?

I have a question for our Euro friends. While watching Moto GP and other European racing events I notice that "Alice" seems to sponsor a lot of bikes/cars. I googled it but couldn't really find out what "Alice" is. Just curious if somoeone could tell me what the "Alice" sponsor does? No Brady Bunch comments please!

Thanks George! My ISP is Comcast and they use a turtle in their ads! Alice is MUCH better!!!!!!

Enis- Must be an American form of riding...Nicky Hayden did the same thing in the race. Maybe they'll start putting pucks on their elbows!

I always just assumed....that Alice was Alice Springs in Oz and they were promoting tourism.
