Damn! What a long 6 months!
04:32 PM on May 17, 2008

Been I think nearly 6 months since I last logged in and sold the ECCI equipment...a long tough 6 months of studying for the Level 1 CFA Exam and i'm close to as burned out as one can get.

Even my PC is gone so I had no temptation.

But now - being so close and knowing that the next 2 weeks will only polish up what I already know (which may or may not be enough to pass the exam), i'm back in the market.

Found an ECCI rig from a fella here in San Antonio that I may try to pick up and with bonus time coming up, it will be time to let the wife's Mac be HER Mac...and I can get back on the PC bandwagon.

Miss all the fun racing even though I was an also-ran, but soon I hope.

Wish me luck on the test...if I don't pass in June then I'll retake it in December and should be that much more ready for it than I was this time around...my heads about ready to explode from all the crazy ass stuff one has to pack in and i'm honestly full of it.

Cheers all...hope to be back soon.

Good luck, Mogwai. Here's some traditional Finnish medicine for you to prevent unwanted head explosions:

The Test is done - last Saturday was doomsday...will likely have to retest in December but won't find out the score for another 4 weeks at least.

Ironically, Monday I purchased my PC...ordered the G25 wheel (if the local wheel is available and the government stimulus gods are good, i may still go for that) so i'm close to getting back.

Thanks fellas for the well wishes. I find that Finnish medicine worked really well for the days following the exam...

So we'll see ya soon...in the novice areana with you Dan!
