school field trip to washington d.c was amazing enough to put on my blog. we flew in and immediatly went to see the mall. we ate at a fake as hell chicago style pizzeria and then saw the washington monument, fdr memoral, and jefferson memorial. at the hotel it was party time with eeryone until about three a.m ( i wont go into detail but it was hot n crazy.) day 2 began with a continental breakfest followed by a trip to capitol hill and the white house. a visit to mount vernon in the afternoon and then dinner and the lincoln, ww2, vietnam, and koren war memorials. ince again there was a hotel party and once again security got pissed at us for messin aroung with the flashes on our phones. day three was sad because we went to arlington and saw every important tomb and more and then the air and space meuseam. then the holocaust meuseam which was supposed to be tear-jerkingly sad was just factual. then the plane ride home watching vh1 on the 767. all in all if you got kids and a chance like this comes up, do it |
That was some field trip! The only field trips I ever got to go on were just local stuff on the school bus! LoL Guess times they are a changing. Dan
I'm thinking a few spelling lessons on the plane would have been appropriate. :) tks,
