Check out my new toy! 2008 Honda Shadow Spirit 750. Went up to Tennessee to pick her up yesterday. Only 300+ miles round trip to pick her up. Brand new with only 2 miles on it.

Very nice!....This is what I got myself for my B-Day last December...Only 275 Miles on it at this time, cause I haven;t ride it as much as I want to, I have only added a new exhaust since then... :)

Nice Omar. My buddy (well my boss) has one just like yours. His is a 2006. He mainly does track days with it now. He crashed it pretty bad at Barbers Motorsports Park here in Alabama. Messed his knee up really bad. He has since got his knee fixed and his bike too.

I too am itching to get a bike, but I already have 2 toy cars and I don't have a place to put it. I'm also a bit scared I'll hurt myself. Is it possible to sell the wife on this for gas mileage alone?

Gas mileage could be a hung selling point because well they do save on gas but it all depends on how you drive it. I am expecting 30 to 40 miles a gallon. About the safety deal, They offer a class you can take that teaches you everything you need to know. I am not sure how other states work but here in Alabama it is 2 days (friday night and all day saturday) and they provide you with a bike and everything else you need if you need the other stuff (like helmet, gloves, jacket). Also you should get a discount on your insurance for taking the class and passes. Pretty cool. Going to sign myself up just as soon as I get a chance.

You can sell it for "Gas Mileage", that is one of the things I used in my situation - lol, Anyways, I have a BMW X-5 and eats gas like hell!, so I use the bike twice a week, to go to my office...I save money on gas by doing this....Paying $4.45 a gallon and only 18 MPG is too much! That's $100.00 plus a tank! Arghh... When is the gas going to stop going up???... :D

The gas will stop going up when we run out of it.
