personal tragedy struck me and my family this past week. my background pic is of Hannah kellogg. she was someone very special to our family. she was my oldest daughters best friend and because of that my wife and i became best friends with her mom and stepdad. we have known each other for over 10 years and we have spent many a weekend day and night with them. true friends. hannah was killed at the hands of her boyfriend this past tues june 3rd. she entered the hospital and they discovered she suffered a massive brain bleed. she would not recover. It has not been as yet medically confirmed why the brain bleed occured but a case file has been opened with the tampa police dept. we know in the past her boyfirend has broken her leg. her toe and dislocated her jaw as well as many bruises on her body that i had seen over the time with him. we suspect he hit her in the head sometime around the first of june which triggered this bleed. she was very frail barely weighing 95lbs and standing 5'6". a beautiful girl with a most beautiful smile that would light up anyone's life. i cannot tell you what she meant to us seeing her grow up from the age of 14 till now. she was like a daughter to me. My wife and I and my kids moved here to florida with no jobs, friends, or family to help us. but shortly after our move she came into our lives and helped us make it here on our own.
I am asking for 2 things here folks.
one is that i would like for the world to know the name
Hannah Elizabeth Kellogg and that she did exist and was known and was deeply loved. If you could email her mom and tell her you have heard hannah's name, well I think that would mean alot.
the second is if you wanted to go to www.thespring.org
and make a donation in her name. this is a local organisation that helps battered women. give the donation in honor or memory of Hannah Elizabeth Kellogg.
