Nurburgring 170k, just another day at the office

Slow and steady was the way for me today on the Nurburgring 170k event. The Porsche GT3 Cup was a much better companion than it's bigger brother, the RSR. Besides my sluggishness on track, there were a few other things I didn't like about this race, but the most obvious one has to be the chatter during the final laps, which kept rolling on screen even after the race steward warned about the on going race. Had a little situation in pit, with me occupying a spot that was shared with another car. We both pitted about the same time, so he or her had to wait for me to leave first, causing a bit of tension in the pit lane.

Despite my bottom-of-the-board-result, I'm pretty pleased on how things went. I managed to "keep the car between the white lines" and maybe this is one of the first steps to better racing.

Isn't it GTR2 where you can push the car in your pit stall out of the way? I think you can nudge the car forward and out of the way, and get serviced, without it affecting the other car in a bad way.

Even if possible to push the other car out of the stall, I think that's unethical. The car in the stall is there because it needs to be there, either for fuel, repairs or tire changes, pushing it away would most certainly interrupt that process, not to mention the damage you can cause by hitting other cars and the general confusion in the pit lane. Using the "Pit In Request" option should do the trick. I don't really know if it works 100%. So far it did. When I use the "Pit In Request" and I don't hear "Pit in at the end of this lap", I delay my stop and try again the next lap. I always have extra fuel for such situations.
