Turkey are redefining luck.

However with three players out through suspension against Germany in the semi and Nihat going off injured they could be slaughtered in the semi.

Then again the good news is the price of chips in my local chippie will not go up (they are Turks!)

The ball is round, the game lasts 90 minutes and in the end Germany wins. Those are the facts.

As a dutchman .... I'll wisely keep my mouth shut. But it isn't hard to guess what I'm thinking. ;-)

But well done Turkey on getting to the semis. There goes another night of sleep with all those cars in the streets till 4 AM. :-)

About the game itself... a thriller all the way. What an unbelievable ending when Turkey equalized with a shot out of nowhere.

George, as a nominal dutchman having drawn Holland in the sweep at work, I feel the same now as I think I know what you are thinking!

Where were they tonight? Russia played very well though, I can see why England did not qualify from their group :-]

3 out of 3 mad results in the quarters ( from a neutral perspective anyway!)

On that basis the Italians should beat Spain tonight!
