In his email, Mr. Theis lists how rFactor has helped his team develop drivers and provide testing on tracks which are otherwise unaccessible during non-race weekends. "Hi I am Michael Theis, Team Principle of Torrent Motorsports and our Organization recently bought your product and would like to tell you about how your simulation has benefited our team on and off the track since purchase. Torrent Motorsports is a Motorsports Organization and in 2002 Torrent Motorsports was born in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, USA as a group of guys just wanting to race anything with wheels and some without! We’ve come a long way, after a move to Columbus, Ohio in 2005 we have gone professional. With our drivers taking rides in everything from CART racing to the SCCA, NASA, USTCC and even Grand Am Rolex. Recently we have decided to broaden our horizons even further into the virtual world in September of 2006 to see some of the most amazing tracks like Monza, Monaco and Melbourne. The reason why we are writing to tell you is because we are so impressed with your software and the realism it provides to help us prepare for upcoming races in all sorts of venues of motorsports. We can run laps on tracks we can't test at freely and in turn come to the arena more prepared than if we hadn't used your software. Another reason we are using rFactor is for Driver Development, the ability to drive in this software transfers over extremely well and useful to new drivers attempting to compete in professional motorsports. We came into rFactor and ISI after evaluating and decided that your product was the best one out there that simulated professional motorsports with the best qualities available. We currently have drivers in the Danish Touring Car Championship and plan on branching into the United States Open Wheel venue in the future. With your outstanding software we were able to test out and sign multiple talented drivers such as Andreas Spengler, Nicholas Morse, Petter Kaasa, Wes Richards, and Tony Rice with the plan of moving all of them into open wheel series in the very near future thanks to your wonderful software.
