Okay, my pictures are not as good as Mike's but here we go anyway (just a few samples) the Audi driving around our legs
the beloved vette
classic
I told him that with that hair he should really get a haircut
Marco about to prove the well known Zargani theory at R2P that running two events in two different cars back to back can be embarassing
Mika Salo before our discussion on springs and negative camber
Gil DeFerran, civilized and a gentleman as usual (Simon P also in the picture)
CT Racing (from L to R): Bob Fay, Scott Berube, Michael Kolar, Francesco Zargani (not pictured Gregg Mulgrew, who at this stage was probably walking right past us)

Mika looks like he's getting annoyed! Nice pics mate!
De Ferran was very friendly, had a bit to say to everybody, which caught me by surprise- if I was in his shoes I'm sure I'd be tired of all those pesky fans by now :)
What did you discuss with Salo?
LoL thats a funny one Enis('salo' actually means 'fat' in Slovenian) :P But yeah, I'd like to know anything more about setting a race-car.
It means the same in Croatian. ;)
Francesco and Mika were discussing the price of tomatoes... Great pics Fran. The team shot looks like a police lineup. I forgot how to upload pictures. I GOTTA SHOW EVERYONE MY KID IN THE #3 CORVETTE! HELP ME! My camera sucks so bad though, the pics are a bit fuzzy. Still, a day to remember. Maybe next year Tim and Todd could fly out here and setup an R2P kiosk on the mid-way! The Tri-State/New England area is the largest market in the country. I've always thought an R2P presentation of some sort at real racing events in the area would probably get noticed.
Holy mod squad!!!!! Rag tag group, I love it!!!! Misfits for sure
Too bad you couldnt join us this time Bryce. Next year. Maybe John might find his way back home to CT for the party next year too....
If any of you guys or anyone at R2P will be at Lime Rock park for the vintage festival in Late Aug/early Sept, come on over to whats left of the hillside on the no name straight and look for a Black corvair and a VW VR6 Powered Rialta motorhome. Stop by for a beer and some BBQ
Mika looks like he is taking himself way too seriously there in that picture. Probably deserved the Eddie Irvine comment. |
