This blog is for direct bug reports and constructive feedback for Race2Play's Open Wheel Challenge 2008, or feel free to mail me if you wish. Here is a link to the 1.0 zip for those that don't like executables and would rather copy the files themselves: I'm checking Tim's exe installer right now to make sure everything works ok and is identical to the original zip. I'll keep this page updated with the latest info, if there is a need for any. and check out Tim and Todd's stylin' new rTrainers |
Hi guys, haven't been as active as usual at R2P lately, had a lot of my time taken up by another BIG project and a new child! But I thought I would post the OWC08 pdf manual for you to peruse: It's a good overview of the cars, RealFeel settings (they do all have fully functioning suspensions), and some pics of a few of the Race2Play and NASA Sim Racing cars. Anyone interested in using any cars or have any constructive feedback can always email me.
Thanks for putting that together, Tommy. I regretably haven't yet had time to try out these new cars with all the practice I've been doing but I really want to check them out. I have always really enjoyed racing in the Trainers (possibly more than any other open wheelers) because the racing is very close and they are approachable enough that most people can get capable fairly quickly. I hope we see series' for each of these cars running here next season.
Similar to Justin in that I have yet to really get a go in these new cars. Going to be running in the Loudon Euro event on Friday so will post feedback after that.
Well, i have tried them, and they are a huge improvement over the standard issue rFactor versions. Great work Tommy! I too hope these show up in R2P series next season. |
