GTR2 Runs choppy
03:08 PM on Jul 24, 2008

I installed GTR2 on my PC.

When I race it on my pc, for testing purposes,
it runs coppy the program studders.
I bought a PC so I can race. below are my Specs.

Windows Vista
AMD quad core 2.3
2 - Nvidia GT8800(SLI) video cards
3000 gig ram

If anyone else had the same problem and resolved it,
I would greatly appreciate some help.

Bought the program to join R2P.

got Rfactor too, runs as smooth as glass.

One thing I can think of would be an Updated version of DirectX

Is there an option to turn off one of your vid cards? To my knowledge, GTR2 doesn't support SLI? Maybe check to make sure you're running it in DX9?

I had SLI set to force slitframe rendering maybe that was it.
Unfortunetly I don't have time to check it Until tomorrow.

I drive Tractor Trailer for a living and duty calls.

Direct x is set at I thought 10 What ever is the Highest.

I do know it is at least set at dx9.

Where do you check what version was looking and couldn't find it to be sure of the version.

Also make sure that SLI is enabled in the nTune settings.

If you update(d) a driver, the SLI will sometimes be disabled and you have to set it back.

EDIT: Garry, GTR runs fine with SLI
