Dreadful Dodgers News....
05:23 PM on Jul 31, 2008

The Dodgers are now stuck with a bat and a mouth, and sadly, that's about all Manny has. The worst glove in the history of Baseball. The worst arm in baseball. One of the worst attitudes toward teammates and owners, and he doesn't even know the meaning of the word 'hustle'. The only player I know that when he gets a hit, he stands there admiring it for a few seconds before trotting over to first base.

I can only say, I wish them luck. I see visions of Gary Sheffield. A cancer to the team. Wonder how long he'll last.

Go Angels!!!!

being born and raised in San Diego, any dodger bad news is good news ;) With that said baseball IMO has sucked for a long time. I havent even be able to watch the world series for many years. Sad really, i used to be able to watch games from start to finish ...on TV even. thank god for hockey lol

Hmmmmm.... Since his trade:

8-for-13 with five RBIs in three games, w/ 2 bigflys

As a Giants fan, I know how you feel Garry. But the bottomline is, he produces numbers. Bigflys or intentional walks, he is now the new threat to the NL West.

If you don't want him, how about Zito for Ramirez?

Heh. I'd go for that in a heartbeat just to get Manfred outta town.

You should see the media down here over what they are calling 'Manny Mania'. LoL. Just cracks me up with all the hype.

I would NEVER deny Manfreds bat, but it's guys like him that will eventually bring an entire team down. As most know, it's a team game, but Manfred thinks he can do it all with only a bat and needs nobody, or anything else. Talk about an ego.

But, after giving it some thought, if there's anyone that can keep him on track, it would be Joe Torre, so there is some hope, at least for the remainder of the season.

A team change has sparked many players careers in the past, and this will likely be no exception. But I guarantee he'll piss someone off within the next month or so.

Go Angels!!!

Coming from Yankee Nation...THANKYOU REDSOX FRONT OFFICE!!!! One of best hitters in the last 50 years is in NL, never to play the Yankees again until they meet in the world series...

The Angels pitching staff and Francisco Rodriguez would like to personally thank the dodger front office for taking Manny out of the AL.

Heh, Garry, on the game last week when Lackey was pitching the no hitter, ESPN clocked Manny going from home to 1st in a glacial like 15 seconds or so. That right there tells you every thing you need to know about that guy's attitude. If one of Sciocia's boys did that when they were getting no hit, they'd be riding the pine for 3 weeks.

:)

Go Halos!

I`m a Dodgers fan and I think Garry is right about Joe Torre being able to somewhat keep Manny in line if anyone can. Manny will produce for the Dodgers.

Ok, ok. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say maybe this will light a fire under the entire NL West?

Just trying to stay positive. :D
