I tried to buy a G25 on line last night, and everyone is "out of stock", none availible at any price. Does anyone know why?

I'm not certain, but I recall reading something about the G25's being a limited edition wheel and Logitech would only be producing them for a year. I'm not sure why they would do that as it seems to be very popular and I hope thats not the case. I've considered buying another one as a back up, mine must have at least 250,000 miles on it so far. I would hate to have to bring the MOMO out of retirement once its worn out.

Dennis, I remember reading the same thing some time back. I have a feeling with the success of the product, they reconsidered. :D I see new stock of them at Fry's on my semi-weekly trips there, so who knows.

Edit: Just did a little research and with same results Doug mentioned...backordered most everywhere. Hmmm. Better start taking real good care of mine.

I hope they don't drop it cause imo, it's the best bang for buck and the best wheel I've ever used.

I spent more time last night trying to find out what is going on. I looked the Logitech web site over and they make no mention of discontinuing it. However in their forum section people have been complaining about this lack of inventory since July 30. I did not find any new wheels for sale but I found a site that had reconditioned wheels (associated with Amazon). I also found some sites that did list it as discontinued. I also read a press release issued in 06 that called it a limited edition. Brian you may just get your $600, what alternative is there?

Doug, there are quite a few new ones still on ebay for sale. Some at a good price.

For $600 id rather have a DFP or DFGT with a set of cst/ecci/homemade pedals and a frex or something shifter. Upgrade later with a momo or sparco wheel. That would kill a g25 and with the exception of the logi parts it would last 10x longer.

I've been hearing many good things about the DFGT. That may be my next move when the DFP breaks. I'm sure ECCI has a pedal connector made by now.

Im loving my DFGT, so much so i havent even really tried the DFP my wife and son use.

If i could just find a way to use all the buttons on the GT I would be extremely happy.

I do believe ecci has the connector but ive read where some people have problems with them, I dont know if the issues have been worked out. Im building a set of pedals and will be going with USB.

I just talked to Logitech and they confirm no stock anywhere. The lady said that there was nothing to indicate that it had been discontinued but she had no idea when they would be in stock. I am buying a used one to be on the safe side.
