The Greatest Moments In Racing
10:44 PM on Aug 28, 2008

Hey fellas,

I thought i would start what i hope to be a very interesting thread, videos of your best motoring moments.

Basically, get on youtube and find what you feel are not necessarily the most historic, most epic, or amazing racing videos, but videos you personally apreciate.

Weather it be watching f1 cars slide in the 70's rain, or dodge vipers do burnouts in American sun. Just post a video of what you enjoy to see =)

I'll start of with what i like to think of as art, GT cars gliding in the rain at Snetterton, enjoy!

Gilles Villeneuve - a man with raw talent. The commentary says it all. It gives me chills every time I see this battle.

the best open wheel race i ever saw was the 2006 Istanbul GP2 race where hami fell back early on and had to climb back up. his battle with glock was EPIC.

It would be Mexico 1990 GP, Mansell (Ferrari) overtaking Berger (McLaren) around the outside at Peraltada (or something like that). A 180 degree corner.

This compilation includes it, and also other great moments - winning his first ever race for Ferrari when the car kept on breaking down in all the prior practice sessions; and of course that pass on Senna in the damp - Goose-bumps!:-
