Might be a while before we see the Super Hornet in the Blue Angels lineup. The Blues have always used airplanes that are nearing the end of their service life. They are stripped down all of combat related equipment and usually given slightly bigger full tanks.

I hope in time they give the Blue angels the Super Hornet! that would be evil!!

Nice pics ... I've taken a good few from one of Europes biggest Airshows, RIAT (royal international air tattoo) .. the only north american show to come down here so far are the F16 group '' The Thunderbirds '' .. perhaps i should upload some of my stuff
