Arca League in GMT time
06:41 AM on Oct 14, 2008

I love Nascar, i use to see as much races as i can, no so much
recently because of new duties, 6 month old baby...:-D

I love Nascar on SIMs. I started racing NR2003S and when
rF came i left those beauties to races another cars.

Now i've tested ARCA and i want to race in ovals again
but there's one little problem, i can't find leagues in

europe and here in R2P all championship are in US time.

is out there anybody with same problem??

Is it possible to organize a championship in R2P, i could
help if necessary.... ;-)

There has not been much support for Arca here in the past, however it does appear to very much be being worked on, and maybe when that has been done it could be looked at again.

I am sure there are quite a few Euro ex-Nr2003 guys who have this and probably have not given it enough time.

But I would like to see it run again at some point in the future.

We, as R2P, will continue to try to build support for Euro-ARCA but every attempt in the past has shown zero support from the Euro crowd. We may get 10 cars registered for the event, but 9 of them would be USA drivers.

Although it should be pointed out that generally, stockcar fields have become smaller since ARCA came out. Bloody weird when you consider that if fixed a lot of the problems that rFactor had with timing and scoring.

The one big strength that ARCA has over NASCAR has not been fullfilled as promised, and that is the number and variety of tracks. Many of us raced the sim like heck early on and its no longer interesting. Sad, when there was so much promise.

I hope Carlos that the same fate doesn't happen to your copy of ARCA, for as long as the game is in the state it is in now, oval racing will be moving to Iracing. Which I might add I'm not terribly thrilled about having to go that route if it comes to that.

The point is that i want to go back to
stockcar racing in ovals, don't matter if in 3 o 4 month
we all move to iRacing, heard very good things about it, so
let see what time brings... by the moment i'll drive my #37
chevy in Arca Version... :-D

the other question about mixed rosters, there must be an
hour i calculate about 15:00 to 18:00 GMT that in eastern time
will be 10:00 to 13:00 in Saturday or Sunday when all european
and american drivers can come together to fill a field of
20 or 25 drivers. Morning race for Us and south american drivers
and afternoon race for european.
Do you think it could work???
