Well. That was just awesome.
Click Race, to go to the grid, and it throws me down out of place, right behind the lead guy. With no force feedback. I tried to tell Tim I was out of place,but apparently started the race anyway. I tried my best but on the second lap it was clear that it considered me to be in last place, and wasn't actually telling me I was being blue flagged or anything, or timing my laps. So I gave up. I'm sick of being screwed out of races by this game for no good reason, and not being able to do anything about it. Sitting fifth in that series it was the one I really cared about, and this happens... Essentially putting me out of any hope of retaining that place I figure. Well, I don't know how much more if this I'm going to put up with. Given I'm struggling to even get any racing in it leaves me with nothing but frustration, and no enjoyment. No one else had problems? |
Sorry to hear that Slink,I un-installed mine a month ago due to these problems & the weird low speed physics. | ||
See, it's the way it feels that keeps me hooked. The force feedback and the way it drives just feel so much more realistic than I seem to have had them in rFactor. But, I've had various disconnects (though only in the Euro races mide week, peak time), and the invisibile car thing up ahead of me in the last but one race. But now this... Like I say, this was the series I was concentrating on as well. I don't know... I guess I might have to switch back to GTR2 which is sort of in between. | ||
Slink, that is a bummer. I love Evo because in my opinion it is the best of the present sims. I have never had this problem and I hope I never do because it sounds horrible. No wonder you are annoyed. I hope you find a solution. |
