Tim, I think you might be missing an untapped market in simracing. http://srythshangar.lasthome.net/VARO/index.htm These guys are apparently doing prop and jet Pylon Air Racing in FS2004. Looks like fun. But then again I have enough trouble in 2 dimensions, much less 3. |
I have enough excuses for both of us. Should we sign up?
t remember a sim i had, extrem air racing, modled after the reno air races..pretty cool stuff. too bad no televised coverage anymore. worlds more POWERFUL motrsport
yeah airracing is cool... whud love to go to reno some time i pylon race rc planes during the summer...our field is to small for a 3 pylon track but we 2 pylon some warbirds and ama sanctioned birds around 130-150 mph at 800 feet of track.
they also airrace with a pc game called il2fb i used to do that a little not real fun tho not much sense of speed in a pc flight sim its challenging tho... air racing for real is probley some of the most deadly and intense things you can do period. there is no room for mistake or mishap... engine failure can mean certain death in some cases or landing dead stick and blind in a matter of seconds... ive seen em on tv but probley dont do it justice i plan to go too reno at least once before i die... |
