1. Don't drive a car that is better than your abilities. 2. Don't re-enter the track in front of oncoming traffic. 3. Don't follow too close to someone you are not familiar with. 4. Don't try that pass in that corner that you have failed to make when doing it alone. 5. Don't continue an event if you have already had 10 unassisted off. 6. Don't continue an event just because there are still cars you have not run into. 7. Don't drive by pit in when you have sparks coming from the area your front wheel would usually sit. 8. Don't use the same brake mark that was 75 yards too far last lap. 9. Don't assume that because your car is faster that you can make that dive bomb work from 4 car lengths back. 10. Don't join that event if you cannot complete 15 consecutive laps without a spin or a crash. For the most part this is meant to be funny, however some of these "don'ts" make serious sense. |
Sounds like I should be following these rules instead!
"6. Don't continue an event just because there are still cars you have not run into." LOL. That one's great.
I love 6 also, but 8.5 should be don't try and brake at the marker that used to be there until you knocked the 3 out b/4 it into the stands and its now the 50M not the 200. Where the hell is Paul Schaeffer when you need him?
Don't join that event if you cannot complete 15 consecutive laps without a spin or a crash Shit, that rules most of us out :)
I regulary break all those. Booya!
lol I think Sir Pete is correct, going by rule 10 I'd have probably only entered 2 events so far. :)
My driving at Anderstorp last season would definetly have violated nr. 5!! I was ok before the race so nr 10 was not an issue, but in the race itself :-( Shame...... |
