What is the old saying?...."The best laid plans...." Qualifying was not as good as I had hoped. I could just never find enough speed to get toward the top of the charts. So the plan was to be consistent and stay in touch with the class. Well, my plan fell apart after the esses on the first lap. S little too much throttle and around I went. Did not hit anything so I figured I could make time back up and eventually catch the field but that never really happened. I decided to go with mediums because I never did a fuel run with softs and was afraid that they would not last a full stint. This was probably a mistake.
While things did not go as I would have liked I feel that after 90 minutes of lapping Sebring by myself, I have defiantly learned the track. Congrats to all the winners and the survivors. Look forward to seeing everyone at Spa in two weeks.
