Load a track for offline. In the chat window, type in ISI_BABYFACTORY and press enter. Back out and everything's unlocked. This pertains to rfactor only.

Create a file in Notepad called SDNDTG.DYN

Don't type ANYTHING at all in the pad - leave it completely empty, and save it into the root folder of GTR2.

Check to make sure there isn't a .txt extension at the end of the filename.

... and make sure the filename is ALL in CAPITALS (exactly as above).

MOTEC Guide: (in the "Downloads" section)

... and change your background - I can't read sh1t as it is at the moment :P

ok i need to bump this blog,

can anyone tell me what my rFactor wheel setting should be?

all the sensitivity is on default (50%) and the car just feels weird. it handles nothing like GTR2.

is there a way to get them both the same.

my settings for GTR2 are

Steering sensitvity 100%
Steering speed delay (the one on the right hand side cant remember what its called ) at 0%

in rF it just seem there is a deadzone when everything is on 0% (i feel no force feedback 15-20 degrees).

then after that it kicks in and its on full. i feel not understeer or oversteer. i cannot feel the car 'going' so i cannot correct it or get anysort of read/feel of my car.

i have a G25 and in the logitech gaming software the setting are the same as in GTR2.

use special FFB settins ticked
enable center sping tick
everything in top half 100%
use special wheel settings tick
combined pedels unticked
steering degrees of rotation 243

any help on this would be great.

also could some1 post a rF set up guide, i think ive seen a colour coded 1 before that looks basic and simple which will be great for me to start with.

thx in advance Craig

Check your controller configs
?:\?\rFactor\UserData\Controller\

For the line FFB steer force neutral range="0.00000" it's about the 13th line down in the Force Feedback section. I changed the line to 0.00000 in all of the configs I use regularly.

Everything above zero creates a FFB "deadzone", the higher the number the bigger the zone.

Thanks to Pat Dotson for providing this answer some time ago.

You shouldn't need center spring turned on if you have FFB enabled and working properly. In fact I have "use special FFB settings" unticked in the G25 software
