Although many of funs wanted to have rain today at Silverstone, the weather was sunny in England without falling a single raindrop on the track. After 52 rounds, the one who first saw the checkered flag was Mark Webber, who managed just 4 laps before the end, overcome Fernando Alonso, who held the reins from the start of the race. Alonso finished three seconds behind the Australian and climbed the podium with the other RedBull of Sebastian Vettel.
The top ten was completed by Felipe Massa, Kimi Raikkonen, Romain Grosjean, Michael Schumacher, Lewis Hamilton, Bruno Senna and Jenson Button. Fastest lap by Kimi Raikkonen in 50th with a 1:34.661 lap.
As for the rankings. In the drivers' championship in the first place Fernando Alonso with 129 points, followed by Mark Webber with 116 and Sebastian Vettel with 100. Manufacturers, preceded by RedBull with 216 points, second place to the Ferrari 152 and Lotus in the third with 144 points.
The next Grand Prix is scheduled for 2 weeks after the July 20-22 weekend at the Hockenheimring in Germany.
