With the recent shooting that happened in Colorado and the mishaps in other places people have been wondering what's wrong with people. I've been eavesdropping on few conversations in the city area, and many are amazed about how bad this world is.
So, what do you guys think. Will it get better here in our world?

See, the pseudonym that was Jon needs to learn how to respect his elders (and betters)...:) Young whippersnapper!

Worlds population has multiplied MASSIVELY since WW2. Lots more poverty, unemployment, people wanting it NOW (advertising to blame) so they take the easy way out (poor education/upbringing - eg parenting) and resort to thieving and robbery etc.
There are people brought up the correct way, but I feel the "other side" are far more prevalent - wherever you go.
I see it only getting worse. Too many "do gooders" being too soft on those doing wrong at a young age is just totally the wrong message, and look at the results now! No respect for their elders, do as they please, often resorting to violence in the process.
Thank goodness for R2P:).

It's all in the perception.
As a direct result of World War 2 approximately 50 million were killed....looking at the world that way one could argue that it's actually getting better :/

Remember...
You can't spell slaughter without laughter!

Violence is an element of the human being. Will it be the end one day? The human history says NO.

I'm a firm believer that it will get worse as populations increase and resources decrease.

As long as there are people who refuse to leave the warmth and comfort of the cave, progress on any issue will be held back.
