
The French driver Philippe Bugalski former Citroen WRC driver, died at age 49, leaving behind his wife and two daughters, after injured in fall from tree at his home near the French town of Vichy. Bugalski was the first who took victory in a Citroen Xsara WRC on Rally Catalunya in 1999, while the same year "paired" his wins with the Rally Corsica.
He started participating in competitions in 1984 and completed his career in 2003 and remained as a "specialist" driver in asphalt. He continued to offer to the Citroen driver's seat development by 2006, while in recent years participated in historic rally.
