Waiting for the diploma
06:18 AM on Jun 16, 2007

I did my part...I think. I've completed over 250 semester units, so you would think after spending 20 years in school they could afford to at least send me a postcard the day my final grades get posted. Perhaps a "good riddance" or "we're going to miss you (our targeting module is broken)".

My school doesn't even show a time schedule for mailing out the diplomas. In fact the only mention I could find that they even mail diplomas was a notice that we are not to leave the country until our diplomas are mailed (maybe that was a hint and I should renew my passport pronto in order to make a quick getaway). It's been 3 weeks and I keep checking the mailman and he has yet to have it on him...he's sure to complain one of these days when I frisk him. Is this common for schools to take several weeks to get diplomas out? I need my diploma to work for me...and just when I finalize the contract it takes a vacation.

Yes - Steve it took me about 4 months to get the damn diploma and my wife it took about 2 months. Hope you get it soon.

If not, go to them in person and give them hell!

Cheers, t
