I get here. I'm welcomed in with open arms by Tim (I really appreciste everything you have done so far Tim!). I go to the doc and they finally XRay my right ankle. Notice I say right ankle, can't possibly be my left one that is screwed up OHHHH NOOOOO!!!!. I find out yesterday that it's bloody BROKEN!!!! The odd thing is, I can move it. The really odd thing is my entire body has been numb for about a month and a half and I have an MRI scheduled for next wednesday to check for all sorts of nasty things in my head. Is it possible that my ankle being broken could be making my whole body feel like it's waking up from being asleep? Why am I venting about this here? I have absolutely no idea!:) Sean |
Ouch! How'd ya break it Sean?
Yes when you brake a bone there is a chimical released in your body from that fracture site which acts just like novacaine (pardon the spelling).
Micheal, I honestly don't have a clue how I broke it! The only thing I can think of is I raced MotoCross for about 23 years. This may be an old injury that was agrivated awhile ago by a sprain to my loeft ankle. I had to put all my weight on the right for over a month and that could have possibly rebroken something that never actually healed correctly. It's one of the weirdest things I've ever gone through, I know that! I'm actually having an MRI of my noggin on wednesday because of the numbness through my whole body. I also have nerve damage effecting my leg from my toes up to about 2 inches before my knee, yeah! Tommy, thanks for that clarification. I thought I remembered a similar deal that last time I broke my colar bone. This is sooooo why I left two wheels for four when I was 27! |
