Time for a break?
08:35 PM on Jul 07, 2007

Well, I think I may need to re-evaluate my participation in sim racing. I think I may have completely ruined a friends race, and possibly ruined the friendship as well. I dont exactly feel all that great about the whole situation, and it is entirely my fault. That "my fault" thing seems to be a reoccuring theme for me. Anyway, the best possible way for me to prevent that from happening again is to simply NOT race. I value friendships and one less friend is unacceptable in these circumstances, espcially when it is my fault the friendship failed.

Enjoy your races all.

C'mon Steve you can't be serious?

Don't be afraid, Johan used up all of the cartridges for the week and all the shops are closed. You're safe.

All right...stop your boohoo-ing. You've been around enough to know that this happens sometimes. Your friend, I'm sure, understands. Plus, you MAY NOT QUIT DURING A SEASON. C'mon now, knock it off. What are you? 8 years old?

Don Johan understands all things.

You REALLY gonna let that old rat bastard get over on you that easily?

He will be disappointed.

Steve, What I found helped in this situation was a 1-week full off from sim racing, yes it made me slower but i was able to find the edge again after...yes 3 really poor finishes.

You are not quitting, absolutely NOT! I want the 0.1 before you quit and I know darn well your not going to give it to me so...

You all dont understand. I didnt wreck, I didnt wreck anyone, I didnt cause anyone to wreck. I caused a friend to choose to leave the race because of my on track "antics". That is FAR worse than a wreck. Wrecks happen. Causing someone to forceably choose to leave the race is unexuseable. I am not "pissed off", I am upset that I caused a friend to leave.

Okay, come clean, what are we missing here.

BTW...I didn't wreck either, just really bad finishes.
