GP79 Lotus - Car Factory'd and RealFeel'd

Make a copy of the originals so you can restore them later. This change will cause online mismatches. Restoring the original files will return things to normal.

Put '1979_susp.pm' and 'goodyear_tyres.tbc' in \rFactor\GameData\Vehicles\GP79.

Put 'lotus.hdv' in \rFactor\GameData\Vehicles\GP79\Lotus.

It drives and feels like a car should drive and feel.

Will non-forcefeedback users notice any difference, or is this a forcefeedback mod only? Thanks!

Pat, I think this will be incorporated into the upcoming patch. Do you know?

Steve, yep, it's totally different. At least, I think you should notice a significant difference. Please let me know what you find.

Joseph, They are supposed to be re-working GP79 with car factory, and if it's done right then real feel should be a lot better. I tried some of the tire file tweaking I've done with other mods GP79 never got any better. There were some things going on at the front end that just killed any response from the tires. It just felt dead.

These new files give you a taste of what's possible. I'm not affiliated with that mod team at all. This is just my artistic impression of an improved car response :)
