At some point in their life, every petrol head must visit an F1 event, be it a test, GP, whatever, as long as the drivers are wringing the cars necks. There is absolutley nothing like standing next to the track while those things fly passed. Even if you dont like the racing.

I used to live near Silverstone and went to the test sessions there a few times (I remember skipping school one afternoon in 1997 because Damon Hill was testing the Arrows up there :P). Amazing sensation, really.

It's a pity these videos are low qual..and even if at the best quality the sensation of speed that you can notice under the Serraglio underpass is nothing compared to when you are there at 5 meters!
The sounds too, TC in action (especially BMWs) is a big GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRggggggRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR and Toyota engines have some awful notes too (maybe tha's why they are slow? lol).
Ferrari and Mclaren have the best sound!
But I hope BMW will have good result, they deserve it, atleast because they gave us model in rFactor!

Yep Nelsinho (Renault driver that day) was testing new ECU, he had some good driving fight exiting Roggia :)
