Just got back from Zoom Zoom Live. It's over for this year, but you guys should check it out when it swings by your state next year. Pretty cool. Surprisingly, I thought the MX-5 was so much more fun to drive than the RX-8, it was really easy to compare the 2 since you drive them on the same course. Maybe that's why the SCCA runoffs are full of MX-5s. I guess the extra weight and the fact that I had to rev the rotary to like 7000 rpms mid corner to get any kinda of decent exit might have had something to do with it. The MX-5 is like riding a skateboard, it just carves turns like a hot knife through butter. Fun stuff. |
Shit Jerry, I have to look at those fucking shitboxes all day long. Not to mention, the MX-5 owners are out there. Mazda owners do whip out their wallets faster than Chevy owners though :) | ||
Looks like a blast! I'd love to take my new Mazda3 on a track and see what I and it can do (or what I can do to it, oops, my wife won't like that). |
