Van Halen Reunion Tour

WOW! Just got back from the Van Halen concert. The venue SUCKED ass, but Van Halen rocked. Amazing concert. 2 hour set!!! Eddie is still absolutely amazing on the guitar. Alex rocked the house. Wolfgang was not too shabby, not very animated, but played well. And Dave, well Dave is Dave. Showmeister extrodinaire! They looked good, they sounded spectacular. Well worth the price of admision. My ears are still ringing!!! Really cool to see a group of old guys ROCK THE HOUSE!!!! Dave even threw a few spinning round house kicks!

He didn't punk out. He ended up on the Sammy side of the feud and I guess even a cleaned up Eddie and Alex still can't let bygones be bygones.

No Michael, no thanks. He was 50% of the vocals.

So close but Eddie's chubby 16 year old kid doesn't cut it.

Holy moly! That's Eddie's son? (And I assume Valerie's, too?)

Sorry, I haven't been keeping up with the feud and didn't realize Michael Anthony wasn't playing with VH.

Yep Tommy, Wolfgang Van Halen. Looks just like Valerie. Plays pretty good bass. His stage presence needs work, he kinda looks lost out there. And his vocals are a tad off key. BUT even these "flaws" really didnt take away from the show hardly at all. It was still pretty cool. Eddie absolutely stole the show. He was amazing. Diamond Dave couldnt even keep up with Eddie! I never got to see them "back in the day" so I was pretty excited to see them in concert.

If they stuck to true VH stuff (pre '85) then I'd likely go see them, too. I just never liked their stuff with Sammy. Way too bubble gum for me.
