Race report
Okayama Muscle on Jan 17, 2010
Car: Dodge Charger R. Class: Muscle. Start: 8. Finish: 6. Laps: 19.
The Running of the Bulls at Okayama. Holding my place back there, waiting to pick off openings.

Woo hoo! Started eighth and picked up eight positions to finish seventh! Hard Charger Award for me!

Follow the math, my peeps. Missed the start by a heartbeat and found myself in 15th by Turn 2. All part of the plan. See, if I had held on to eighth and then made up eight places, I would finished in zero position, and what good is that? None good.

S'okay ... 30 minutes is enough time to make a race of it. By the time I was up to ninth I was in a good multi-lap contest dogging Glenn Petersen, with Allen Cotton nagging after me in turn. Traded places with Petersen a couple times before I was able to get away.

Caught seventh and got by there with a couple laps remaining, and I think if we had another lap I would've given sixth an eyeful of concern. Next time.

Awesome fun. Congrats to the winner.
