You can pretty much scan my other race reports and you'll basically have a good idea of what happened to me today.

But I do want to say that I'm batting .500 at Interlagos. My first race at this track ended in a miserable DNF on the first lap. So this is a huge improvement.

Congrats to Agustin on the win. You were flying all day, man. And Mike and Ari on the podium.

Mostly I just want to say that this has been a great series, and thanks to Daniel Gomes and the Brazil Power Team for putting this series together.

Congratulations to Eduardo Prado and BPT on the championship. Also to my Flying Krobar brethren for 9th in the team championship standings and Rob Milliken with a top 10 overall.

I'm sure I'll see most of you in the Gallardo Challenge next Sunday.

That was fun. My first race with these cars and I survived!

Qualifying went well, I thought. Although I was doing 1:01s in practice, couldn't do it in qual. Oh well. Did that in the race though, which is usual for me. Any time I'm within 3 seconds of Tristan, that is good enough for me.

Only problem I really had in the race was bad pit strategy. Had a good couple of fights with Glenn W and Liam B. Well, not fights so much as trying to keep them behind me. :) Which ultimately failed, but that's okay.

Great racing all. Grats to Tristan, Sai and team boss Rob on the podium!

On another note, I had to re-adjust my seating position almost every time I got in the car. Is this normal with this mod? Did any one else experience this?

Grats to Zak and Pinnacle Motorsports on the championship!

Today was just embarrassing. That's all I really have to say. After getting what I thought was a pretty good baseline setup on a practice server I set up for myself, I was consistently getting 2:45s. Which, I found out, wasn't nearly fast enough when I jumped on the server for practice today. But I decided to give it a go anyway. Little did I know that my setup would be absolute crap today. I just could not get the car to handle for the life of me. All throughout qualifying and the race it was just spin after spin after spin. I don't think there was a part of the track where I didn't spin.

Oh well. Great series, Nick. For the two events that I was in, anyway. Onward and upward.

Well my first race with these cars was a fun, if lonely, one.

Q: WAAAAAAY off pace both in practice and qualifying. But I'm still learning how these cars work.

R: Not bad. Given my qualifying position, I'm not surprised I fell as far behind as I did. An off-track excursion (thanks to some lag from Hugo Ginja -- no problem, it happens) put me even farther behind ... so I was about 30-36 seconds behind the guy in front of me for basically the whole race.

And to top it all off, my FFB totally went away somewhere between warm-up and the race. Dunno how that happened. Oh well.

Grats to Mike on the win and Keith B and DHR SimCraft on the championship.

I may have to drive these things some more. That was fun.

Q: Did about as well as could be expected. Not great. Not surprisingly, I ran a lap in the race faster than my Q lap.

R: Ended too quickly for me. Made a good start and made up a few spots from my Q position. Lost a couple slowing way down for the first chicane, but I figured there might be a pileup. Which there was, and I tip-toed my way through. However, in the chicane before the Adelaide hairpin I tapped someone's back bumper, spinning him 'round. Drive-through time. Lost all the places and more that I made up on the start. Started to settle in for the long lonely race ahead. Then, on Lap 5 I pounded one of the barriers in the chicane before Adelaide and killed the car. Game over.

Congrats to the podium. See you in Singapore.

PS -- Please please please please be patient in qualifying. I know there are many people faster than I am. With such long lap times at Oldring, there are few chances for getting a good flying lap for qualifying. I can't just jump out of your way when I'm on what could be my last flyer. Tapping my back bumper and trying to muscle your way by only irritates me. Thank you.
