It sounds as you were given a penalty for moving before the start. In most cases you simply serve your penalty but there is a bug with this track. You did the correct thing by trying to serve the penalty, again, its unfortunate about this track bug.

Good race all in all. Daniel just drove away from the field so it was the rest of us racing. I saw Rich dealing with the pit situation and I figured I could help without losing to much. The place I lose to Danny I tried to get back all race long but it didn't work. Good to see the track and ol faces, to bad about the pits.

Cya on track :)

Contratz Garry!

Yes, That was a fun little race. I enjoyed sliding these buggies around the corners. A good first half of the race with only a couple bobbles. Though, with just a small spin and going wide I was already out of sight of Garry and Ryan. I pitted without a problem and went out thinking I was stuck in no man's land. Glenn's post explains how he got behind me. My tires were worn and the last few laps took all I had to keep it going clean. I managed to hold Glenn off in the end. Good race.

I scheduled another single race at Prairie City. I little shorter race length using the Super E because it has a large fuel tank. Hope to see you there.

"Screw the competition...." Words of wisdom @ 2:16 - 2:29

My apologies for the late post.

Thank You everyone for coming out to the race. Yes, the attrition was high at this race but you have to beat Baja before you have a chance at the competition. Looking back and reading the posts, I think many of the issues people had came from tires heating up. Personally, I was having trouble keeping control of the buggy so I promised myself that I would take it easy. I think that was key as I seemed to have grip on the hill where others were spinning. These buggies are definitely challenging to drive here.

It's great to see some of you were able to fight through and over come the obstacles that were thrown at you.

Congratulations to everyone.

Despite the attrition, I hope everyone had a good time and got home safe.

Thanks,
John
