That was like bumper cars!!! going into T1....I think everyone hit somebody....anyway this was not one of my best races....after taking out Ivan going into the 2nd Lesmo, (which I sent a PM to apologize) I came around Ascari at full tilt and slammed into C. Diem....This forced me to pit....this all happening on the first lap....so I filled the car full a fuel and hoped for the best....So from 19th place I came though the field and got as high as 9th....with two laps to go my team said that I would have to do a "stop n go"....but the gap was not big enough to hold on to a top ten....today 11th would be the best I could do....Congrats to all the finishers!!!

Was so lookin forward to racing at Paul Ricard.

Holy smokes what a horrible Qualifying session, I just barely made one hot lap. Had to start back in tenth when I should have been a bit higher.

When the lights went out I had a pretty good launch, I was surprised to be up to 4th half way through lap 1. But that was as good as it got......soon after I would spin, loose my front and rear wings, (I was two seconds from hitting the ESC key) got a pit lane speeding penalty and incur a drive through.

In the end I would finish 6th but it was not a fun race for me.

Not one of my best races....but in the end I saw the checkers....which is always better then a DNF.

In the early laps I had battles with Liam & Jan....but couldn't keep my concentration and spun braking for the last chicane....Later I had to pit early for a missing front wing....but told my crew to not fix the body damage....so they didnt replace the wing....me so dumb!!!!....come back in the next lap and my guys made the repairs....now this put me back in 9th....last of the runners....was up to 8th when Omar final cooked his engine....that put me into 7th....On the last lap I noticed that I was catching Juan hand-over-fist....I ened up passing him on the long section leading up to the last chicane for 6th place....he was missing his rear wing....sorry bout that Juan.

This is my home Grand Prix, seeing that im Canadian, Ive been to the circuit many times, its open to the public many people ride their bicycles, jog and drive there cars around the circuit. So a good result is always important.

Qualified pretty much as a do most races, mid-pack.

The run down to T1 went well for myself, made up quite a few positions by the exit of T1, from 11th to 6th place. Alot of carnage behind me.

Settled into a nice pace, got as high as 4th. Made only one mistake, a fast 360* spin in front of D.Spinola, which dropped me back to 6th.

Made my pit for fuel & tires on lap 24 and maintained 5th position till the checkered flag.

Good job to all that finished.

Qualified 12th only got one good fast lap in the 10 minute session.

Escaped the carnage of the frist turn, by going around the outside, some people still seem to think that if you get there frist you win the race. So because of foolish mistakes I went from 12th to 9th.

On lap two I ran into Domi going into the frist corner, not knowing weather I ended his race or not, I did a DT, after the race I sent him a PM. I pitted on lap 16 from 11th and like Mark forgot to tell my mechanics to leave the damage, I turned off the engine so I wouldnt over heat. Come out back in 13th. In the end I would take home 10th place. Had some good battles today. (Maftei & Neychev)

Wow what a bumpy front strech!!!....

Q - 7th...Didnt really do much testing for this race.

R - I planed on not making a pit stop so I tried to save my tires in the early stages....while trying to past I.Grande I went off....not once but twice....I final got around him, I think at the start of lap 15....three times a charm!!!....as it got closer to the end of the race I noticed that Juan was in a close battle with J.Sproule for 3rd not sure if it was during that battle that he lost his front wing....On the last lap I was really chasing Juan down (his lost wing) as we came into the last turn Juan stayed on the inside line, I had to go a little wide to the left but I was able to keep it off the wall and just beat Juan to the line for 4th....Tough luck Juan

Fun race, had an early battle with Josh....was hopeing for a top ten finish, but on the final lap I ran out of fuel :(

Just wondered if anyone else noticed some funny scoring during the race....I was in 8th at one point and my HUD showed me down in something like 13th this happened a few times...weird

I just want to say that this race today was the most fun Ive had since joining R2P last December...I was going to write a long post-race column but elected to instead thank everyone who raced here today, you all made this a wonderful event.
But there are a few guys that made it that much more special, Thank you Alain Fitoussi you are a fair racer, I enjoyed our long battle today very much....sorry about your pit stall problem.
Also I would like to thank Laszlo Gebei you to are a fair racer, you pushed me hard today and I you, for many laps. I look forward to racing against you both in the future.

Fun cars!!!...Bumpy track...Qualified 11th The start was nice and clean from my view...had a good battle with M. Richards in the early stages...got as high as 8th...thanks to other drivers mistakes...I found that these cars really suck the fuel...had started with 27 laps of the stuff but had to pit on lap 23...dropped down to 14th where I finished...all-in-all a good race for my self...looking forward to the next one!!!
