Great fun!
Managed to do a good quali on my final lap, just enough for pole.
Had a good start too, going into T1 leading the field, with Bas and Mike right behind. We worked on a gap the next few laps when there was a car standing on the race line in the fast right hander at the end of the back straight. And if that wasn't enough the car was moving back and forward to rejoin the track... Bas decide to pass it on the right, I went left. Bas and the rejoining car collided where I missed the car but hit the wall... ouch! Bas dropped back, and I was still leading... now with Mike all over me. With the damage I had lost any advantage in pace I may have had in the early laps. Mike was pushing me very hard for the lead for several laps, and there wwas no way I could re-open the gap. In the end I made one small mistake running onto the grass in T2 (I think), allowing Mike an easy pass.
