Thank you guys for a great season. I thoroughly enjoyed it. This series struggled with low attendance at times but sure had a solid field for this one :).
Well, going into this race, I knew Matthew would be my toughest competition and he showed it by taking pole. After my final qual run, I had one more lap of fuel left but the tires had it and I just wouldn't have been able to go onto another run to try and take away the 32 hundredths of a second that Matt had over me :).
At the beginning of the race, I had a great start which pushed me past Matthew going into T1. From there, I tried not to look back and did my best to follow my lines and be smooth as possible as this track is a bear on the tires. But I had a lot of fun doing this. Interlagos just begs you to fly smoothly through its corners and it is really a treat if you have a stable car. Outside from a few issues with some lapped cars, I had an excellent race through and through. Really enjoyed it.
Once again, thanks for a great season, everybody. Hope to see all of you next season in NAGT. I might be in another car, who knows :)
