What a disaster. Did a bit of practise during the week that went ok but did not think I would get into the race as there were no slots open. I decided to check the event about 10 mins before qualifying and saw that some slots had opened up so joined just as quali was starting.
Did not manage to get any track time during qualifying and then only managed 1 1/4 race laps, hit the tyre barrier after the archway on lap 2 for no reason whats so ever apart from stupidity. The impact killed the engine and it would not restart so had to hit escape to clear the track. To cap it off as I settled to watch the rest of the race I got the dreaded connection lost message.
At least things can only get better
