It was a good race for me.
The start caught Zoltan by surprise a bit and I took 1st place. He caught me after a couple of laps.
The tires on the Ferrari are hard to choose.
I didn't know which were the medium tires, because you could choose 4 different slicks and the names were: Dunlop White, Yellow, Green and Red I think. I couldn't make anything from the names and to ALT TAB to windows and see the manual was out of the questions as I didn't want to CTD.
So I choose green tires. The temperatures were ok but after 6-7 laps the tires were not grippy anymore and Zoltan was alover the back of my Ferrari. The lap times were good but the feeling of the tires was strange.
I made a small mistake and Zoltan passed me on the inside. A few corners after that, he overcooked it in one corner and I took 1st back.
The Jag was faster here and had better front grip, but the car felt like driving a cigar :))
L.E. White the softest, than Yellow, Green, Red. Seems I didn't make a bad choice, but I should have went for Yellow. In the qualy I drove on Yellows instead of Whites :))

Well I am getting old :))
I called for pits, all ok and in the corner before pit entry I got confused and for a second didn't know where I should go.
My mind was somewhere else, so I got the safe way, straight. Went through the hole in the wall and the mechanics didn't want to pit the car. 1.5L left in the tank so couldn't do another lap.
Great race for 50 laps. Swapped places with Reinhard a couple of times and the biggest gap was 2 seconds.
Thanks to the nGT cars for letting us passing cleanly.

I got to 2nd from 5th by lap 15 and was going for the win with an easy pace. Uphill to Blanchimont on the straight :)) I was planning to pass Darren with a short pit because it was safer to pass in the pits rather than on track, and than blast with my racing pace and take the win.
I didn't look at the road, I tried to put 85 L in XD and I caught some grass and than the low grip tarmac on the outside way ahead Blanchimont :)) God I am such a noob. I can't believe it. All the race I was telling myself how patient I was with the guys ahead and out of nowhere ...
Never relax during a race!
